Prohibition Aerial work platform Safety Operating Instructions:
1. Smoking is prohibited. Smoking is not allowed during high-altitude work to prevent cigarette butts from falling into the bucket and igniting the work platform, which could lead to an accident.
2. When working at height, take care not to tip over chemical coatings. Precautions for chemical coatings in the insulated bucket of an aerial work platform: When loading chemical coatings into the insulated bucket, ensure they are not overturned to prevent corrosion of the bucket. If tipping occurs, immediately rinse away any residue with a neutral detergent, then clean thoroughly with a soft cloth and water.
3. When parking on a slope, engage the handbrake. Precautions for parking an aerial‑photography drone on a slope: Park only on slopes no steeper than 7°, apply the handbrake, and chock the tires.
4. The vertical support legs of the elevated work ramp must be extended step by step. The procedure for extending the vertical support legs of the bridge-type crane ramp is shown in the figure. First, extend the front legs until the front tires lift off the ground, then extend the rear legs.
5. During slope operations, keep the vehicle level. Verify that the aerial work platform is level, and after fully extending the outriggers, visually confirm that the machine body is horizontal.
6. Fold the legs according to the steps. To fold the aircraft’s ramp‑style vertical legs: first fold the rear leg, then lower the rear wheel to the ground, and finally fold the front leg.
7. When performing work at height, always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). If the aerial work platform is mounted on the work bucket, additional PPE must be worn. Before ascending into the work bucket, operators must don a safety helmet and a full-body harness, securing the harness’s metal buckle to the safety latch on the bucket’s guardrail to prevent falls and fatalities.

Aerial work platform How to properly use a seat belt;
1. Seat belts may be used only after passing inspection by a certified testing agency every six months.
2. A safety harness shall be worn when working under the following conditions:
(1) If working at height is possible, a safety harness must be worn when entering the workplace.
(2) When working at heights of two meters or more;
(3) When working on scaffolds without guardrails or platforms, and at heights exceeding 1.5 m;
(4) When working on a sloped roof;
(5) For buildings with flat roofs, when there is no guardrail within 1.2 m of the roof edge or any roof opening;
(6) Any suspended platform or work platform;
(7) Any guardrail or scaffold decking is incomplete;
(8) Ladders located near roof openings or ground-level openings;
(9) When working at height without reliable fall-protection measures.
